For you people that have not heard as of yet but Tyler went bear hunting with his father, brother and some close family friends  in September for a week. This trip was a little pricey so we used some of the money from the Tyler Fund to help pay for this trip. The last day they were there, Tyler shot a bear ( all by him self with some attention that Shawn bought that all Tyler needs to do is suck into a tube and that is what makes the gun shoot). Tyler was so excited. The bear is now in the process of getting fully mounted, that will take a little less then a year to get it back. Here are a few pictures from Tyler's Bear Hunt. Look at that smile on his face, that is all that matters.

Every year after the ride, we hear rumors that people say we use that money raised for other stuff then for Tyler but that is not case and it hurts us that people would think that. All that money that is in the account is used to help with the cost of specialized equipment that Tyler needs and for what the insurance wont cover and let me tell you, they don't cover as much as you would think. Also we can not just go to the bank and take money out without showing what the money is going towards. We do work hard to be able to buy nice stuff for our family and for the boys. This ride is not about the money, its about Tyler having a good time and for one day to forget about his disability. So if you still feel that way about it then don't pay for the ride but don't except to eat either.  Thanks!!

We used some of the money in the Tyler Fund to redo Tyler's bathroom so it is more functional for him. Right now his dad is lifting him from his wheelchair and placing on the shower seat (that is not safe because he could slide off) to take a shower and Tyler is getting bigger and heavier, its getting tougher to lift him. So we are going to be making a shower that a water wheelchair will be able to fit into so that way I will be able to give him a shower as well. We are also going to be adding railings on the sides of the toilet because Tyler is also having a hard time staying straight well on it and we are worried that he is going to fall off or hurt his back. Here are some new pictures of Tyler's bathroom. There are a few things that still need to be done like painting. It is so much easier now giving Tyler a shower.
